Our sincerest condolences and sympathy for sufferers of Tohoku Region Pacific Coast Earthquake on March 11, 2011.
"Hold hands to unite our hearts" is the message behind the name of this project "One's Hands Project".
There are many snow resorts in the disaster-hit area. Skiers and snowboarders who shared the pain felt by
sufferers gathered in pursuit of the common goal of taking action. And in the midst of this unprecedented disaster,
the skiers and the snowboarders, "the snow lovers", established "One's Hands Project".
The first action was "I LOVE SNOW CAMPAIGN". With support of the organizations related with winter industry, the snow lovers
raised funds and collected donation of winter clothes from all over Japan and distributed in the disaster-stricken area through this campaign.
Now, to expand its activities, "One's Hands Project" has applied to become an authorized nonprofit organization (NPO)
in order to cross lines to hold more hands with more organizations, communities, and corporations to unite their hearts.
"One's Hands Project" is an organization engaged in long-term supporting activities for the purpose of reconstruction of
the disaster-stricken area as well as promotion of snow sports.
Proceeds from "One's Hands Project" activities will be used to support Tohoku Region Pacific Coast Earthquake, the reconstruction activities, and snow sports promotion.
